Dr. Ishaq Dar – Foreign Minister of Pakistan – has called on Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in Islamabad today (Monday, April 22) and discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.
According to the media reports, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi emphasized the importance of enhanced efforts to further consolidate bilateral relations in diverse fields.

During the meeting, both leaders affirmed their commitment to peace and constructive dialogue for resolving regional challenges.
It is to be mentioned here that the President of Iran arrived in Islamabad today on a three-day visit to Pakistan. He was warmly received by Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada on arrival at Nur Khan Airbase. He is accompanied by his spouse and a high-level delegation, comprising the Foreign Minister and other members of the cabinet, senior officials, and a business delegation.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the armed forces presented a guard of honor to the Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi at Prime Minister House in Islamabad. Anthems of both countries were also played on the occasion. Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif introduced his cabinet members to the Iranian President.
