The spokesman of Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid has announced the first members of a new “acting” government on Tuesday.
According to media reports, the Taliban spokesman has made the announcment in a press conference in this regard. He said that the government will be led by Mohammad Hasan Akhund while the Taliban’s co-founder Abdul Ghani Baradar will be the deputy Afghan leader.
On the occasion, Zabihullah Mujahid has clarified that this is an “acting” government with “acting” ministers and will not be the future government.

Below is the list of the new key appointments:
Hassan Akhund – acting Prime Minister
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar – acting Deputy Prime Minister
Sirajuddin Haqqani – acting Interior Minister
Amir Khan Muttaqi – acting Foreign Minister
Abas Stanikzai – acting Deputy Foreign Minister
Mullah Yaqoob – acting Defense Minister
The Taliban’s spokesman further stated that heads of various other ministries will be appointed soon. He emphasized that after today, no one will be able to interfere in Afghanistan.
