With a straightforward bowling motion and a variety of variations, Hasan Ali is a medium-fast bowler. At the age of 19, he made his first-class debut, taking four wickets in the opening innings against Lahore Ravi. His cricket career began with club cricket and progressed to the regional Under-16 level; nevertheless, he was not selected for national young groups.
