The Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Religious Harmony, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has warned that abandoning Afghan people in this hour of need would escalate a humanitarian crisis in the war torn country.

According to media reports, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has expressed his views while addressing the media persons in Islamabad on Friday.

On the occasion, the Special Assistant on Religious Harmony has urged world Muslim leaders to play their role to help Afghanistan deal with current difficult situation.

Maulana Tahir Ashrafi further stated that PM Imran Khan is in contact with all major countries to get support for Afghan brethren. He said Pakistan’s narrative of peaceful solution to Afghan problem is being acknowledged and supported by all nations.

The Special Assistant has also urged the nation to express solidarity with security forces and help them in dealing with challenges of hybrid war.
