Al-Badr IT Center – An Information Technology center in South Waziristan – has been established by the Pakistan Army to highlight the technical skills of the youth.

According to the media reports, the Al-Badr IT Center in South Waziristan provides basic education to the youth besides courses of diplomas in IT, office automation, e-commerce, freelancing, and digital programming. A total of fifty-two students have been enrolled in the center at the moment.
The reports further stated that the youth and elders of South Waziristan have thanked the Pakistan Army for providing technical training at their doorsteps.
