Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar clarified that the war on terrorism is not being fought from the money of any donation but by the taxes being paid by the people of Pakistan.

According to the details, the Caretaker Prime Minister made these remarks while talking to the media person in Karachi today (Wednesday, August 23). Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori also accompanied the caretaker Prime Minister. The Premier said that Pakistan will not surrender to radicalization, extremism, and intolerance under any circumstances.

On this occasion, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said Pakistan is our homeland and we will take it forward as per our own plan. He made reference to the recent martyrdom of security officers in Waziristan when he emphasized that terrorist activities cannot weaken our resolve in the war against terrorism. The perpetrators of such crimes, he claimed, erroneously think that our fight against terrorism will wear us out. He made it clear that nations, not individuals, wage war. He reiterated that we won’t stop making sacrifices in the fight against terrorism or forget about the ones made by our martyrs.

The Prime Minister declared that we will pursue the terrorists with tenacity, expressing the nation’s unwavering resolve. He then highlighted that Pakistanis’ tax contributions, not donations, are what is used to fund the fight against terrorism. He claimed that individuals who sacrifice their lives in places like Waziristan, the Line of Control, and other places are our sons and are doing a wonderful job of overcoming both internal and external obstacles.

PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar promised to address the needs of the military forces and law enforcement but said that security personnel do not provide their services or make sacrifices in exchange for payment. He highlighted that their genuine reward for their service is respect and honor. He declared that we should not be afraid of terrorist and suicide strikes, and he strongly condemned both. He declared that we would keep up the fight against these misguided elements and that they would be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
