American filmmakers are sent abroad by the Showcase for workshops, discussions, and capacity building. This initiative helps us reach groups that we might not regularly reach while fostering interpersonal relationships.

The AFS 2023 adventure kept moving on in Gilgit-Baltistan after finishing its first phase in Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad. Films including “Picture a Scientist,” “Lily Topples the World,” “Street Gang: How We Got To Sesame Street,” and “The Missfits” were shown at various events in Gilgit-Baltistan.
