Anita Karim – the MMA star and fighter from Pakistan – won the title in Thailand by defeating the Thai player.
According to the media reports, Pakistani MMA star Anita Karim won the title in Thailand by defeating the Thai player. She outclassed Thai player Lakneem Bunson in the Legends Fighting Championship.
The reports said that 5 minutes into the first round, Anita rained punches on Laknam, after which Anita’s opponent succumbed just 25 minutes into the second round. This is the fourth professional victory of Anita Karim from Hunza.

It is pertinent to mention here that Anita Karim is a Pakistani mixed martial artist. She is the first international female Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from Pakistan to win multiple national and international-level bouts. She was born into a family of MMA fighters in Karimabad, Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. One of the first MMA training facilities in Pakistan, “Fight Fortress” was founded by her and her brothers, Uloomi Karim, Ehtisham Karim, and Ali Sultan. Karim won the Pakistan Grappling Challenge (PGC) 2017–2018 with seven gold medals and one silver.
Karim defeated Indonesia’s Gita Suharsono in their One Warrior Series 4 (OWS) match on February 28, 2019. Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, gave her Rs. 100,000 as compensation for her triumph. In addition, Karim received a shield from Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon, the governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, as a thank-you gift for representing Pakistan. Karim defeated Marie Ruumet of Estonia by a unanimous decision on February 19, 2020, in the tenth installment of One Warrior Series.
