The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has put the health department on high alert in view of rising cases of the dengue virus.

According to the media reports, the Adviser to Caretaker Chief Minister on Health Dr. Riaz Anwar said in a statement in Peshawar today (Wednesday, August 30) that teams have been formed to control the spread of the dengue virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Adviser to Caretaker Chief Minister on Health Dr. Riaz Anwar said that steps have been taken well in time to ensure preventive measures against the spreading of the Dengue Virus. He said that the dengue situation is being monitored in all districts of the province including tribal districts and effective Health measures are being taken to prevent dengue larvae in every district.
