He said that the doors of the board are always open for consultation with all ex-chairmen including ex-chairman Najam Sethi.

Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf further mentioned that the Pakistan Cricket Board has begun conversations to establish cricket leagues in the United States and Saudi Arabia. He stated that PCB intends to launch its own T10 league following the PSL. He also stated that PCB is preparing for the Asia Cup matches in Pakistan. The goal is to have the domestic cricket season started on time. Cricketers were treated unfairly when Ehsan Mani’s board decided to discontinue department cricket. However, teams from departments and regions will now compete in the new domestic cricket league.

The Chairman stated that the decision to pay the national team players 45 lakh rupees per month has not yet been made. However, he recognized that playing league games before key events such as the Asia Cup and World Cup is problematic. He stated that they are concerned that players would be wounded, but that according to the previous board’s approval, they cannot prevent the cricketers from participating in the competition.
