The former President and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, Asif Ali Zardari has felicitated Murtaza Wahab on being elected Mayor of Karachi.

According to the details, this was stated by the spokesperson of former President Asif Ali Zardari. He said that along with Mayor Murtaza Wahab, the Co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party has also congratulated all the mayors, deputy mayors, district councils, and town chairman and deputy chairman of Sindh.

According to the spokesperson, Asif Ali Zardari said that the success of the elected local representatives is the result of the workers’ hard work.

The former President has directed all the mayors, deputy mayors, district councils, and town chairman and deputy chairman of Sindh to keep the doors of their offices open for the public and start their work from today.

On the other hand, the Chairman of the People’s Party and Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also congratulated Murtaza as Mayor of Karachi and Salman Abdullah Murad as Deputy Mayor. He said that today the People’s Party has achieved a historic success and this success is the victory of the whole of Pakistan. This success is the result of the long struggle and sacrifices of the Karachiites, while the politics of hatred and division in the economic hub of the country reached its logical end, he added.
