Ayesha Gulalai Wazir joins PML-Q and pays tribute to martyrs

The former leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Member of the National Assembly, Ayesha Gulalai Wazir has announced to join Muslim League-Q.

According to the media reports, Ayesha Gulalai Wazir made the announcement of joining Muslim League-Q during a press conference with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain today (Thursday, May 25).

On this occasion, the former MNA said that Pakistan is the fortress of Islam and the defender of this fortress is the Pakistan Army and every citizen of Pakistan is a soldier of the Pakistan Army. She said that Pakistan Martyrs Day is being celebrated today, I pay tribute to the heirs of the martyrs. She added that Chaudhry Shujaat is very respectful to her.

In his remarks, the leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, Chaudhry Sarwar said that people are joining their party under the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former MNA Ayesha Gulalai separated from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf in 2017. She was born in Bannu domel and received her master’s degree from the University of Peshawar. She began her political career as a human rights activist from Bannu domel and was a worker of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians as coordinator for the women’s wing in FATA. She joined PTI in 2012 and was nominated as a member of the PTI central committee. She was indirectly elected to the National Assembly as a candidate of PTI on a reserved seat for women from the FATA in the 2013 Pakistani general election and became the first-ever female MNA from FATA, according to Wikipedia.
