Beenish Fatima – the Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer and Superintendent of Police Beenish – has received the prestigious “2024 IACP 40 Under 40” award by the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

The 2024 IACP 40 Under 40 award, held annually in the United States, honours 40 police officers aged under 40 from a poll of hundreds of nominations from around the world. This year’s ceremony was place in Boston, where Fatima, a Rawalpindi police officer, was among those honored for excelling and leading in their fields. She received the prize from the IACP president during a magnificent ceremony honoring youthful talent among the world’s best cops.

According to the IACP website, the recipients are the top rising leaders from around the world, demonstrating leadership, devotion, and service to their communities and the law enforcement profession.

The Punjab Police also congratulate the offices in statement on its official X account and wrote: “Proud moment for Pakistan! SP Beenish Fatima, working as Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi, is the only one in Pakistan who got selected for this award.”

Dr. Usman Anwar – the Inspector General of Police Punjab – also congratulated Fatima for bringing Pakistan’s name in good light to the world and winning the international award.
