Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti vows to protect lives, rights, and properties of all citizens

Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti has vowed to devise a strategy for the protection of lives, rights, and properties of all citizens regardless of their religious or ethnic identity.

According to the media reports, Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti made these remarks during an interview. He said we will tackle the challenge of terrorism and ensure the security of the state and its citizens. On the other hand, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani said that Pakistan is desirous of having cordial relations with the entire international community including China, the United States, European Union, Turkiye, and Arab countries. He said we want to strengthen our economic relations with the entire international community including China, the United States, European Union, Turkiye, and Arab countries as well.

When discussing CPEC, the Caretaker Foreign Minister stated that he is delighted to have signed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor during the Chinese Prime Minister’s visit to Pakistan in May 2013. He stated that CPEC is a major flagship initiative of the country’s economic development and that we have completed many development projects under CPEC over the last ten years. The next phase of CPEC will also be vital for Pakistan, and we will prioritize accelerating the pace of development on CPEC projects in IT, agriculture, railways, and other areas while employing Chinese experience.

Jalil Abbas Jilani further stated that we need to further improve our economic policy with a focus on improving economic ties with all the countries including regional, and other major important countries. He said we will also try our level best to further cement our economic ties with the United States, China, and the European Union, which are the major trading partners of Pakistan.
