Chaudhry Rehmat Ali death anniversary being observed today

The nation is observing the 73rd death anniversary of the prominent leader of the Pakistan Movement Chaudhry Rehmat Ali, who coined the word Pakistan, today (Saturday, February 03).

According to the media reports, Chaudhry Rehmat Ali was born in Hoshiarpur. He founded the Pakistan National Movement in England in 1933. He is best known as the author of a famous 1933 pamphlet titled “Now or Never; Are We to Live or Perish Forever”.

The leader of the Pakistan Movement Rehmat Ali died on this day in 1951 and was buried at Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
