All arrangements for the General Elections 2024 being held on February 8 have been completed by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

According to the media reports, this was stated by the spokesperson of the Election Commission in a statement issued today (Saturday, February 3). Over one hundred and twenty million registered voters will cast vote for National Assembly and four Provincial Assemblies in Pakistan General Elections 2024.

In all four provinces, the Election Commission has set up ninety-six hundred and seventy-five voting places. Twenty-five thousand three hundred twenty are designated for male voters, and twenty-three thousand nine hundred fifty-two are designated for female voters. Of these, forty-one thousand four hundred and three are combined polling places.

5,121 contenders are vying for seats in the National Assembly. Among them are 2,0 transgender candidates, 312 female, and 4,807 male candidates. Two hundred sixty-six general seats in the National Assembly and five hundred and ninety-three general seats in four provincial assemblies will be up for election.
