CM Insulin for Diabetes: The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at providing free insulin and essential medical supplies to young children suffering from type 1 diabetes across the province.
According to the media reports, as part of this compassionate healthcare campaign CM Insulin for Diabetes, the Chief Minister of Punjab introduced the “CM Insulin Card”, which will be used to deliver insulin directly to the homes of affected children. This innovative approach not only ensures accessibility but also alleviates the burden on families who struggle to secure necessary medical supplies.
The program’s first phase will benefit 1,500 children, with Pakistan Post riders delivering the insulin under a cold chain system to maintain quality. This meticulous delivery method is crucial in ensuring that the insulin remains effective and safe for use.
