The Karachi accountability court directed that all records of reference in the alleged corruption of 17 billion rupees against Pakistan People’s Party Leader Dr. Asim Hussain and others be sent to Chairman NAB.
According to the accountability court’s judgment, the Sindh High Court decided to remand the case to the NAB on September 4. The NAB said that there is an allegation of corruption of 17 billion rupees against Dr. Asim Hussain and others in connection with gas contracts.
Following the amendment of the NAB regulations, the accused filed a High Court challenge to the accountability court’s jurisdiction.
