Fawad Hassan Fawad has taken the oath as a caretaker Federal Minister today (Friday, September 15).
According to the media reports, Fawad Hassan Fawad has sworn the oath as caretaker Minister at a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad. President Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath.
Fawad Hassan Fawad is a retired Pakistani civil servant who served as the Principal Secretary to two Prime Ministers, Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, at the BPS-22 grade. His work as Pakistan’s Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister from November 2015 to June 2018 was largely focused on the realization of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, effectively spearheading multiple infrastructure and energy projects and directing sector-wide investment across the country. He was appointed Federal Secretary in December 2017.
