The Speaker of National Assembly, Asad Qaiser has said that close cooperation between Federal and Provinces is the chief requirement for prosperous and developed country. He said that the challenges faced by country demand unity as Second wave of Covid19 is sever in its impacts.
According to details, the NA Speaker has expressed these views during a meeting with Speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ghani in Islamabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Asad Qaiser has said that resolution of economic issues faced by the country demand austerity measures to be adopted in letter and Spirit. He also stressed on the need to effectively legislate for the welfare and progress of the country.
The Speaker also remarked that incumbent government is striving hard to make provinces more autonomous.
“Country can not afford anarchy during the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic,” he added.
On the occasion, Mushtaq Ghani appreciated the NA Speaker for his efforts to bring federation and provinces together.
The KP Speaker also appreciated the steps taken by federation to stop the Covid19 pandemic.
