The Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has expressed deep grief over the devastating earthquake in Herat, Afghanistan.

According to the details, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed his views regarding the earthquake in Herat in a statement on the social networking website X. He expressed heartfelt sympathy for the communities affected by the disaster.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Afghans during this difficult time. He said the National Disaster Management Authority has been instructed to send maximum support to Afghanistan.

The Caretaker Prime Minister further stated that the Afghan government has specifically asked for sending a medical team, a field hospital, 50 tents, and 500 blankets. He said on his instructions, that in addition to the relief goods, all the requested items are being dispatched in the afternoon today, with more relief goods to follow.

The tweet read, “Deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake in Herat, Afghanistan. Our hearts go out to the affected communities. We stand in solidarity with the Afghans during this difficult time. I have instructed @NDMAPk to send maximum support to the affected. Afghanistan government has specifically asked for sending a medical team, a field hospital, 50 tents, and 500 blankets. On my instructions—in addition to the relief goods—all the requested items are being dispatched in the afternoon today, with more relief goods to follow.”
