Steps are being taken to make the electoral process transparent and impartial, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja has said.
According to media reports, the Chief Election Commissioner has expressed these views while addressing a ceremony in connection in National Voters’ Day in Islamabad on Monday.
Sikandar Sultan Raja further stated that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is an independent institution of Pakistan.
He said that the ECP provides equal opportunities of the right to vote to all citizens.
