Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar – the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan – said that it is a constitutional requirement to hold elections which would be held on February 8 after which a newly elected government would be formed.

According to the details, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar dispelled doubts about the elections on February 8 during an interview with a private television channel today (Friday, December 22).

During the interview, the Caretaker Prime Minister said that there should be no doubt about polls as the election process has started with the candidates filing their nomination papers and the political parties busy building narratives to attract voters.

While answering a question, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said that it is the responsibility of the government to provide security to political leaders and voters of Pakistan. He said that the interim government would fulfill its responsibility during the holding of elections.
