Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah calls on PM Kakar on sidelines of WEF’s annual meeting

The Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah called on the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos today (Thursday, January 18).

During the meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Caretaker Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan desires to deepen bilateral engagement with Saudi Arabia through trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges. He underlined the strategic importance of close brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, rooted in common cultural heritage and shared interests.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar appreciated the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and underlined the highest esteem, the people of Pakistan hold for the leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia. He noted that close brotherly relations between the two countries are a factor of regional stability.

The Saudi Foreign Minister has also emphasized that the Kingdom desires to deepen bilateral engagement with Pakistan through trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges. The two sides also reviewed regional developments.
