Former MNA Jai Parkash also parted ways with PTI

The former Member of the National Assembly and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Jai Parkash also parted ways with PTI. He was elected member of the National Assembly of PTI on a reserved seat.

According to the media reports, the former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Jai Parkash made the announcement during a press conference in Karachi today (Friday, May 19th). He said today I announce to quit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. I supported the party in every difficulty, and in these 13 months we had peaceful protests, on May 9 the peaceful protest turned violent, he said.

The former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf further stated that if there is an army then there is Pakistan and if there is Pakistan then we are there. I was present in Karachi on May 9. We were given a call for a peaceful protest. Later I saw that the protest went to the military installations. Those who did this should be punished. He said that no one picked me up and he took this decision without any pressure.

It is pertinent to mention here that after Aamir Kayani and Mehmood Moulvi, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former advisor to Prime Minister during Imran Khan’s regime, Malik Amin Aslam has announced to quit PTI. He said that on 9th May, the workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf took the law into their hands, and the target of the procession was the military installations.
