General Elections 2024: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will start receiving nomination papers from tomorrow till Friday, 22nd December 2023 for general elections to be held on 8th February 2024.
According to the media reports, the Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a notification in this regard. The notification said that the ECP will publish the list of candidates for the General Elections 2024 on the 23rd and start the scrutiny process from the 24th to 30th of this month.

By the third of the next month, appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers may be filed. The Appellate Tribunals will then decide on the appeals until the tenth of the following month. On the eleventh, the updated list of applicants will be visible, and by the 12th of the next month, candidates can withdraw their applications.
The Election Commission of Pakistan will allot election symbols to parties on the 13th of next month while polling is to be held on the 8th of February.
