The incumbent government is making sincere efforts to address long standing core issues of backward segments in the country, the Speaker Asad Qaiser has said.
According to media reports, the National Assembly Speaker has made these remarks while addressing the oath taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Swabi Electronic and Print Media Association in Swabi on Tuesday.
Speaker Asad Qaiser further stated that the current government has announced mega projects for development of the country particularly the remote areas of Balochistan and merged districts. He said that the aim of the government is to uplift Balochistan and merged districts and bringing them into national mainstream.
The National Assembly Speaker added that these projects would help change socio-economic conditions of people besides creating employment opportunities for them.
