President Alvi, PM Imran Khan felicitates Muslim community on advent of Ramadan

The President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have congratulated the Muslim community and the nation on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

According to details, the President and the Prime Minister felicitated the Muslim community in their separate messages after the announcement of Ramadan.

Both the leaders have said in their messages that Allah Almighty has provided us with an opportunity to fully benefit from His blessings in this holy month.

President Dr Arif Alvi has said that the purification and obedience to commandments of Allah Almighty are objectives of fasting. He also requested to the masses to follow the SOPs during Ramadan to keep themselves and their loved ones safe from the novel coronavirus pandemic. He also posted a tweet on his Twitter account.

The Preimier Imran Khan has said that it is our individual and collective responsibility to ensure following the SOPs during Ramadan. He said we have to combat this critical situation with unity.
