Imaan Mazari and Ali Wazir handed over to police on 3-day physical remand

Imaan Mazari – the daughter of former Federal Minister Shireen Mazari – and Ali Wazir – the leader of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) – were handed over to the police on 3-day physical remand by the anti-terrorism court of Islamabad.

According to the media reports, the anti-terrorism court of Islamabad heard the case against Imaan Mazari and Ali Wazir for sedition, intimidation, and incitement. Imaan and Ali Wazir were presented in the court of Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.

The reports further stated that the PTM Leader Ali Wazir was brought to the courtroom with a cloth on his face. The protected decision was pronounced by the Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.

The prosecutor had sought 10-day physical remand of Imaan and Ali Wazir.
