The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain took notice of the verbal spat between former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar and PTV Sports anchor Dr Nauman Niaz.
According to media reports, the Information Minister has constituted a committee on Wednesday to look into the matter. The committee will be headed by the PTV managing director and other people including the PTV’s Human Resources (HR) department will also be a part of the committee.
Members of the committee will figure out why the argument between Shoaib Akhtar and Dr Nauman Niaz took place. The exchange of words both off-air and on-air will be studied. The committee will send its findings to Fawad Chaudhry.

In case the findings highlight the PTV sports anchor’s mistake, then action will be taken against him. The committee will also summon the anchor and former cricketer to hear their sides of the story.
PTV News also shared a statement on their official Twitter handle to confirm the news and said that the management has taken notice of the incident that took place between Akhtar and Dr Niaz.
