Maryam Nawaz – the newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab – took notice of the incident on the complaint of star fast bowler Mohammad Amir of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 franchise Quetta Gladiators.

According to the media reports, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz called Mohammad Amir to get information about the incident and settle the matter between the Deputy Commissioner of Multan and the player.

Mohammad Aamir also thanked the Punjab Chief Minister by sharing a post on the social networking site WebX for taking immediate action. He wrote, “I am highly grateful for the chief minister’s @MaryamNSharif attention to my matter and for taking out the precious time to call me. All misunderstandings have been cleared by Deputy Commissioner Multan himself. “

The cricketer also wished the newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab appreciated her efforts and wished her the best in this new journey.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier Mohammad Amir had accused the Deputy Commissioner of Multan of allegedly abusing the families of the players during the match, on which he also demanded Punjab Chief Minister Maryam take notice of the matter.
