The Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf has called for holding of general elections across Pakistan simultaneously.
According to the media reports, NA Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf made these remarks while speaking to media at a seminar in Islamabad on Wednesday.
On the occasion, NA Speaker emphasized the importance of consensus and dialogue among all political parties to address the socio-economic challenges facing Pakistan.
Raja Pervez Ashraf urged the three key stakeholders including the Election Commission of Pakistan, the incumbent government, and all political parties to develop a consensus on holding Pakistan general elections.
