Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf called on the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad today (Monday, October 9).

During the meeting, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar congratulated Admiral Naveed Ashraf on assuming the command of the Pakistan Navy and expressed his best wishes.
The Caretaker Prime Minister hoped that the Pakistan Navy would continue to play an active role in national defense under the leadership of Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf. Professional matters pertaining to the Navy were also discussed during the meeting.
