Noor Mukadam murder case: Court sentenced Zahir Jaffer to death

The District and Sessions Cour of Islamabad has sentenced Zahir Jaffer to death in Noor Mukadam murder case after a long-drawn trial of over four months.

According to details, the verdict of Noor Mukadam murder case was announced in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Thursday. Islamabad local court judge Ata Rabbani, while delivering verdict in Noor Mukadam case, sentenced main accused Zahir Jaffer to death.

Islamabad District and Sessions Court Judge Ata Rabbani has sentenced co-accused Jan Muhammad and Iftikhar, the gardener and security guard at Zahir’s house, to 10 years in prison each, while acquitted all the accused in Therapy Works.

It is pertinent to mention here that the trial of the gruesome murder continued for four months and eight days in the local court of Islamabad. During this time, the testimonies and the statements of all the witnesses involved in the case were recorded.

The local court has reserved the verdict after the completion of arguments by the prosecution and defence earlier this week.
