Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan agrees to further strengthen bilateral cooperation

The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a meeting with his Kyrgyz Counterpart Ruslan Kazakbaev on the sidelines of Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey.

According to media reports, both the leaders have expressed their commitment to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade and defense sectors between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, FM Qureshi has said that Pakistan desires early completion of important projects like CASA 1000 to enhance cooperation in energy sector.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan also highlighted the aspect of regional connectivity and integration as its important components and underlined shortest access to the sea for Central Asian states through Gawadar and Karachi ports.
