Pakistan, Tajikistan to further strengthen, diversify bilateral ties

The Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security, Dr Moeed Yusuf has called on the Secretary of Security Council of Tajikistan Nasrullo Mahmudzoda in Dushanbe on Tuesday.

According to media reports, both the leaders have reiterated their resolve to further strengthen, deepen and diversify bilateral ties for mutual benefit between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

During the meeting, Dr Moeed Yusuf has highlighted that Pakistani seaports including Gwadar offered the most economic and efficient route to Tajikistan for its connectivity with the outer world through sea.

In his remarks, Nasrullo Mahmudzoda has said that the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan are flourishing day by day and the recent visit of Tajik President to Pakistan has added yet another impetus to these ties.

Pakistan’s National Security Adviser and Tajik Secretary of Security Council have resolved to maintain the regular contacts for further boosting the bilateral ties.
