President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned an attack on Palestinian worshippers inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces.

In a statement on the social networking website Twitter on Thursday, President Dr. Arif Alvi said regrettably, Israel has no regard for any norms of humanity including the sanctity of religious places. He termed it ‘the height of barbarity’.

Dr. Arif Alvi further stated that the international community must condemn this brutal and inhumane act against peaceful worshippers.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also strongly condemned the Israeli forces’ attack on Palestinian worshippers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

In his statement on the social networking website Twitter, the Premier Said that the brutal attack is violative of the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan. He said the impunity granted to Israel has emboldened it to violate basic human rights with abandon.
