Pakistan Nutrition Program was launched by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal to reduce stunting and other forms of malnutrition in children.

According to the media reports, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal launched National Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Program at a ceremony in Islamabad today (Wednesday, July 26th).

Addressing the launching ceremony, the Planning Minister said that peace, stability, and consistency are the key factors for the development and prosperity of any country. He said that these factors need to be implemented in Pakistan as well to make it a developed nation.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal further stated that there is also a dire need to focus on the mental health of the children besides physical health to make them creative citizens. He said today we launched Pakistan Nutrition Program under the Ministry of Planning and Development, which will help improve nutrition among children to polish their cognitive skills.

“The incumbent government is also taking different measures to overcome Hepatitis and Diabetes in society,” he said, adding that we should also focus on a sense of purpose, stability, and continuity of leadership, and the best utilization of human resources to improve governance, which is need of the hour.
