The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said that the presidential election will be held on the 9th of March in the country.
According to the media reports, the Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a schedule and notice for the Presidential election, which will be held on 9th March 2024. The issued schedule stated that the candidates could submit their nomination papers to the Presiding Officers in Islamabad and with the Presiding Officers at four provincial capitals by noon tomorrow.

The ECP further stated that the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on Monday. The candidates can withdraw their nomination papers by Tuesday while the final list of the aspiring candidates will be published on the same day.
Candidates can withdraw their names by the 6th of this month while polling for the office of the President will be held on the 9th of this month in the Parliament House in Islamabad and all four provincial assemblies.
