Police has been fighting terrorism and the first line force for maintenance of law and order in the country.
This has been stated by the Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmad Shah while addressing the passing out parade of ASP officers at National Police Academy in Islamabad on Friday.
On the occasion, the Interior Minister has said that the police has been fighting terrorism in different areas including Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Ijaz Ahmad Shah has further stated that the Police force has made a lot of sacrifices in the war against this menace.
“Police force always remains under criticism and it is the responsibility of its personnel to work in such a manner that improves its image,” he added.
