The President of the nation, Dr. Arif Alvi has said that modern agricultural techniques could bring a revolutionary improvement in agriculture sector of Pakistan.
According to media reports, the President has made these remarks while addressing a ceremony of Kinnow exhibition at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Sunday.
Dr Arif Alvi said for ensuring viability of economy and long term growth, it is necessary that all the sectors of economy pick up and complement each other to excel. He stressed the need to promote market applicable research in universities to enhance production of fruits.
The President also urged Pakistani Ambassadors to play their role in promoting country’s production around the world. He appreciated the role of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce for contributing valuably in country due to export of Kinnow.
