The British High Commissioner Christian Turner has called on the Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Pakistan and Britain have agreed to complete the extradition treaty between the two countries at the earliest.
On the occasion, the Interior Minister has stressed on taking measures to ensure that the criminals do not find refuge anywhere. He said Britain’s positive security advice about Pakistan has improved its image globally.
The British Ambassador Christian Turner has expressed satisfaction over Pakistan’s arrangements to fight Covid19 pandemic.
The High Commissioner has underlined the importance of enhancing trade between Pakistan and United Kingdom.
“Restoration of British and Virgin Airlines will help promote trade and tourism between the two countries,” he added.
