Some senior journalists of has visited the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Tuesday for update on an overview of Covid19 pandemic, efforts undertaken particularly non pharmaceutical interventions with all stake holders in line with best practices and health guidelines during all stages of pandemic.
According to media reports, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar and Director General of NCOC Lieutenant General Hamood uz Zaman welcomed the participants at the centre.
The senior journalists were given comprehensive brief by Major General Asif Mahmood Goraya about current coronavirus situation and Pakistan’s vaccine strategy and roll out plan starting from tomorrow.
On the occasion, the Planning Minister has said that Pakistani media has played key role in crisis communication and community engagement during the pandemic situation.
Asad Umar thanked media for their all-out support for communicating health guidelines and measures to masses and desired behavioral change.
