Sanam Javaid PTI withdraws from Elections 2024 after re-arrest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Leader Sanam Javaid has decided to withdraw from the electoral race of General Elections 2024 after being re-arrested in Lahore.

According to the media reports, PTI Leader Sanam Javaid was planning to contest the general elections 2024 from NA-119 in Lahore, the same constituency from where Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice-President Maryam Nawaz is also contesting.

On Monday, Falak, Javed’s sister, stated in a video that they were supporting Shehzad Farooq in the elections. She went on to say that Sanam should manage Farooq’s campaign as her own. Before this, Sanam Javaid was taken into custody right away in an arson case after being granted bail.

The bail request of Sanam Javaid was granted by Judge Arshad Javed, who also granted her liberty. She was, nevertheless, taken into custody right away and sent to the Shadman police station.
