Jamrud’s Additional SHO Adnan Afridi is martyred in a suicide blast in the Ali Masjid Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to media reports, a huge explosion ripped through a mosque in the Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, causing the single-story edifice to collapse. The blast was thought to have killed at least one police officer. The mosque is located near Jamrud’s Oba Pull.

The mosque building was martyred in the explosion, while the fear of more people being buried under its debris is being expressed. The IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that according to preliminary information, the blast was suicide. He added that the suspect blew himself up during the search.
The reports further stated that the martyred officer was Jamrud’s Additional SHO Adnan Afridi.
