Taliban has the right to raise its voice for Muslims anywhere, including in Kashmir, India and any other country around the world.

This was stated by the spokesman of Taliban for its political office in Doha, Qatar, Suhail Shaheen in a Zoom interview with BBC Urdu on Thursday. He said that the Taliban don’t have a policy to raise arms against any country.

Suhail Shaheen has said that beign muslims we have this right to raise our voice for Muslims in Kashmir, India, and any other country.

“We’ll raise our voice and say that Muslims are your own people, your own citizens. They are entitled to equal rights under your laws,” the spokeman added.

Responding to a query about Haqqani network, he said that there is no such group and they are a part of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
