According to the media reports, Vaani Kapoor was born on 23 August 1988 in a Punjabi Hindu family in Delhi, India. Her mother Dimpy Kapoor is a former teacher who now works in marketing, and her father Shiv Kapoor owns a business that exports furniture. She attended Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, North West Delhi, for her education. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in tourism studies from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in Maidan Garhi, she began working for the ITC Hotel and afterward completed an internship with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
