Youm-e-Istehsal: PM urges India to reverse its conduct of August 5

Youm-e-Istehsal-August-5

Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said on the Youm-e-Istehsal on August 5 that Pakistan will continue to lend its unstinted moral, political, and diplomatic support to the rightful and just cause of the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people.

According to the details, the Prime Minister has expressed these views in a statement on the social networking website Twitter today on Youm-e-Istehsal, August 5. He said that today marks the completion of four years since India deprived Kashmiris of their statehood by unilaterally annexing Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).

PM Shehbaz Sharif stated that it is Pakistan’s unwavering commitment and vow to our Kashmiri brothers and sisters that we will amplify their cries in every arena until the world acts and forces India to cease its human rights violations and forcible occupation of IIOJK. He claimed that the last four years have seen the culmination of the worst human rights violations, including, but not limited to, demographic shifts, the issuing of phony domiciles, internet shutdown, total information blackout, and the detention of Kashmiri leaders of all hues and colors.

The Prime Minister went on to say that the insidious attempt by India to change the internationally recognized status of IIOJK and undermine the Kashmiris’ legitimate right to self-determination was at the heart of these unlawful and immoral measures. He stated that Pakistan condemns all unilateral and unlawful measures and pledges to continue providing steadfast diplomatic, moral, and political support to Kashmiris in their rightful cause. We urge India to reverse its conduct after August 5. History demonstrates that brutal force has never succeeded in extinguishing the flame of liberty and rights.
