Kuwait restores business, family visas for Pakistani citizens - editor times

The Federal Minister for Interior, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has called on the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah in Kuwait on Monday.

According to media reports, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister has restored family and business visas for Pakistani citizens after ten years suspension during the meeting.

Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah also decided to issue technical visas for Pakistani workers in medical and oil fields. Pakistani citizens living in Gulf countries can now also get online Kuwaiti visa.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has thanked the Kuwaiti PM for the decision and said by lifting ban on business visa, trade will increase between the two countries.

In his remarks, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah has said that the relations between Pakistan and Kuwait span over seven decades and there is a relationship of love and trust between people of the two countries.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed also handed over a special letter from Prime Minister Imran Khan to his Kuwaiti Counterpart.
