Babar Azam – the skipper of the Pakistan Cricket Team – has achieved another milestone and become the highest-scoring captain in the T20 Internationals.
According to the media reports, Pakistani skipper and right-handed batter Babar Azam achieved this milestone during his 37-run innings against the Black Caps on Sunday in Rawalpindi. He exceeded Aaron Finch’s previous total of 2,236 runs, which he scored across 76 innings while captaining Australia in T20Is.

In the third T20I, New Zealand chose to bowl after winning the toss. With a partnership of 55 runs in the opening, Babar Azam and Saifuddin Ayub provided the side a solid start. With 22 balls, Saifuddin scored 32 runs. On the other side, Babar Azam scored 37 runs off 29 balls with four fours and a six before being caught by skipper Michael Bracewell.
This right-handed batter broke the record in his 67th inning with a 28-run personal score. Babar Azam has amassed 2246 runs in T20 international cricket while captaining Pakistan. In terms of innings, Babar is also in front of Finch.
